Italian excellence.The 8th International IOHA Conference held in Rome entitled Health, Work And Social Responsibility. The occupational hygienist and the integration of environment, health and safety has been an international hit and had an outstanding attendance. The conference has gathered hundreds of experts from over 50 countries. It has compared innovative studies, exclusive projects and precious know-how in order to make work more productive and more compatible with health and life quality requirements. There have been 11 keynotes lectures, 25 workshops, 263 oral communications and 233 posters. Several professional meetings and other scientific activities. Researchers and professionals from the most prestigious universities and institutions, organizations and professional associations were all involved in occupational health and safety. The 5-days event (from September 28^th to October 2^nd 2010) that took place in the prestigious Urbaniana University in Rome was organized by the Italian Industrial Hygiene Association (AIDII), on behalf of IOHA together with INAIL and ISPESL the two Italian institutions responsible for prevention and insurance of occupational hazards.





"We have received about a thousand scientific papers from aver 50 countries and over a thousand national and international professionals registered to the conference. We obtained the patronate of the most notable Italian and International organizations of the sector such as the International Labour Organization, the World Health Organization, the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Affaire, Other Ministries, Universities and institutions."
